In the Entropia Universe, the PED currency has a fixed exchange rate of 10:1 to the U.S. dollar. In this universe, there is a real economy that allows you to make money.
John Neverdie Jacobs purchased a station located on an asteroid for $100,000 on October 24, 2005. A 1,000-unit apartment complex, a pier for commercial spaceships, a themed mall, a megastadium for sporting events and more. And also a nightclub with multiple dance floors, which he called Neverdie.
The club became a popular destination. The entire complex brought in $200,000 a year for John from people buying his goods and services.
In the 2008 Guinness Book of World Records, the Neverdie Club (or rather the entire complex) was named the "Most Expensive Virtual Facility."
In 2010, John sells businessman John Foma Kalun and several other entrepreneurs the entire complex for a total of $630,000.
